AND THEN THERE WAS ONE.

Ok kiddies,

He leaves tomorrow early in the morning. Doesn't seem like it has been two weeks already. We've had a great time with him being home. However I just found out he will be back mid Oct. Yea!!!!!!!!!! So I guess another countdown is in store. Alexandra started kindergarten Weds. she loves it. It's really nothing to new to her she went to preschool at the same school last year she's a seasoned Vet. (so she thinks) " MOM it's ok I did this last year it so easy." She makes me laugh. We pick up her cheerleading uniform tomorrow also. Curtis has finally been going on the potty. We are on day 3. Of course he is running around the house naked (whatever works right?) My brother has come to live with us until he can find a place here. He's been a big help with the kids and around the house. The kids just love him to death. I'm working on posting some pics however I think something is wrong with HELLO the program I use to upload pics to the blog. Hopefully I can get this figured out soon they are really good pictures.

P.S We went to a wonderful B&B last Sat. No kids, no TV, no phone, and people wonder why back in the day they had so many kids LOL

Take Care kiddies

THE PACKAGE IS IN HAND

Ok he's finally here. Came in Sat morning around 0800. Well worth all the waiting. Things are going great. The kids were surprised and so happy to see him. It was weird sleeping in a bed with someone else (guess I was taking up the whole bed). Another wired thing last night I went up to take a shower while he stayed down stairs and visited with his sister. So I'm in the shower minding my own business when I walks in the bathroom and says something, scared the shit out me because I had forgot for a brief moment that he was home. I haven't laughed or smile this much since he left. It's time like these that make me realize how much I love this man. I'm sitting here watching him mow the grass all nasty and sweaty and I want to go out there and jump him. LOL I don't have any pics yet I know that's bad but I will get some I promise. I love watching him play with kids. Everybody is more peaceful now that he's home. Well that's all for now. I want to thank everyone from the bottom of my heart for all your prayers and thoughts. P.S nothing went as planned not one little thing, but I really don't care at this point he's here and that's all that matters.

Until next time

What makes me happy Aug 4th

The MALL!!!!!!!!!!!!! I love the mall even if I'm not buying anything I love to go and window shop. What I love even more is an empty mall. Ok I went to the mall yesterday. I was 100+ outside yesterday and seeing how I had that issue with the heat exhaustion a few weeks back I thought the mall is nice and cool. So my next door neighbor and I with the kids went to the mall. Had a good time. My son doesn't like the mall too much (just like a man LOL) SO I have to make sure he has plenty to eat or drink to occupy his time. My oldest however loves the mall also. I think I've raised a monster (Sorry Honey. She was all up in there stores ohhh look at this I have to try it on, she would try in on and model in the mirror. My fav store @ the mall VS (Victoria's Secret). I usually get into load of trouble up in there. I could spend so much money in there (I don't) but I could. Well that is my happy place for the day. Take Care.

So for today I'm happy that I get to see my husband really soon hopefully the next week will go by fast or slow depending on how much house work I still have to get done. I want to surprise the kids so I'm not going to tell them I picking daddy up. I'm just going to tell them I'm going out, and I will be back after they're asleep. Ok, so what's on my nightstand?

Let's see.
I have a candle, a box of tissues, a small lamp, a bottle of lotion, my phone charger, and a card that my husband sent from A-stan (it has two people and man and a women running and jumping across two beds. On the inside it says "Your my favorite form of exercise" and of course he wrote me a small letter. Well that's about it for my nightstand not very exciting.

Calling all concert goers

As you can see my school shopping list is almost complete thanks to my mom. Thank you again mom it helped me out a lot. It's amazing how the littlest things help the most.

Ok my weekend went well. I didn't clean at all. I paid for it today. It was worth however. I took the kids to Chuck E Cheese. Thanks to Angie's daughter and her daughter's boyfriend. I couldn't have done it without you. We them went to the mall to build a bear and the kids built a bear well Curtis built a puppy. It's name is Skippy and the Stack sauce (don't ask), Alex built and purple bear and named her Fairy, and Taylor built a really soft brown bear and named it Baby. On Sunday thanks to Angie (she got the tickets) and B's parents (Angie's daughter's boyfriend)they babysat. I went to Ozzfest. VIP seats and VIP tent. The only group I really wanted to see was Black Sabbath and yes Ozzy was there! He is so great on stage. He seemed so happy to be there and up on stage he really loves his fans also. Another headliner was Iron Maiden they kick ass also. I was never really into them however the also put on a great show. It seems to me the older bands really appreciate there fans more than the newer bands. They really get the crowd involved. They always say thank you and give you more if your loud enough. Both bands were great and I happy to say that my concert attendance list is growing. Ok when I was younger I saw a few put I'm starting a new one.

1.Queensryche
Judas Priest

2. Iron Maiden
Black Sabbath
Black Label Society

I'm hoping to see Motley crew in Aug. And who ever comes this way.
Now I'm making up for playing this weekend with a messy house and a whole lot of housework, but hey I got all week, right?

Well until something new come along

The Eagles

OK I'm feeling a lot better I just need to stay out of the sun for long periods of time. I asked someone to mow my grass yesterday. It killed me to ask( you know who you are and THANK YOU). I've been drinking a lot of fluids and trying to eat on a regular basis. I've been neglecting my health so much lately.

The Eagles remind of my husband. I have fond memories of him singing The Eagles. How I do miss him. Hopefully he'll be home soon even if only for a few weeks. It seems like I have so much going on in Aug. Here is a run down. Mind you my husband is planning on coming how for two weeks in Aug and we don't have any dates for that yet. I guess I'll update as them dates come in.

6th Aug
Alexandra's cheerleading camp 0900-1500

I also want to try and have a small get together when my husband comes home so he can say hi to our friends, all @ one time and get it out of the way. It not that we don't love them to death but this way I wouldn't feel guilty for hogging him all to myself. They have helped us out a lot.

Well this brings me to the end of my post. I need to get some cleaning done today but, getting out the house would be nice also, tough decision. Until next time take care everyone. Again thank you for all your prayers and support.

Superwoman has been defeated

Hello all,

Look like I got myself a little run down, it's either heat related or some little bug. However when putting 2&2 together I'm betting on heat. Last night all of the sudden I got real sick feeling and exhausted I couldn't move of the couch without the feeling of wanting to pass out. Needless to say my kids took advantage of this and destroyed the house. I had forgotten all about the tree and shrub dude coming out to look at a tree that has been taken over by bag worms. When he came to the door it took everything I had to get up and go to the door. I told what was going on and if he needed anything I would be sitting on the front porch. We talked for awhile he is a Marine and his unit is being deployed in 6 mn or so. I came back inside my kids were starving I put waffles in the toaster and told my oldest when they popped up to get them out and give them to the two younger ones, that bought me 5 mins or so until I had to get up and put more in. My kids sure can pack away some waffles. I then put all the kids to bed, the youngest went to sleep right away and I put a movie on for the other two so I could get in the bath. I took some TY PM's and laid down until their movie was over and put them to bed. I feel a little better this morning just a little groggy. I need to make sure I eat today even though I don't feel like it.(stomach still a little icky) Well it's taken all my brain power to type this up, so I better go for now.

NEW VIDEO

Ok I know, I know but hey pass my website along to all those lonely soldiers out there. I will only leave the this video on for a few days. Hey I'm doing my part to keep morale high. (I want a pair of red boots to)

I seem to have a bug

I seem to have a bug on my PC, or the internet provider here is messed up. Sometime I can get on and sometimes I can't. I guess it's time to run a anti virus scan and a spyware scan to see what they can find. I can't wait for school to start, even though it's only my oldest going back, that counts for something. She also starts cheerleading(as she calls it) soon, they actually have an all day cheer camp here. I don't know if she'll make it all day she's only 5. She's excited. We tried soccer however she didn't like it because it made her sweaty she said. She would only go to the games so she could have snack and socialize. What a princess she is. My son will be turning 3 in Aug. And it look like his daddy will be able to be here for that. He's trying to come home on R&R for two weeks in Aug. I don't know why they call it R&R it should be called, come home kiss the wife and kids, fix everything that need to be fixed, sleep and go back. It will be a well deserved break for him. He wants to come home and be normal he says. Well there is nothing normal here I tell ya. I guess to him all the kids running around and screaming and the mess is normal. We sure do miss him. I guess I'll plan a few things for us to do nothing major, however with three kids anything we do is major. My poor dog Sydney has been sick so I've been dealing with her. She either ate something or had a stomach thing going on. She is doing better. She has to take two pills twice a day and eat really bland food. She's loving it because that means she gets to eat boiled chicken and rice, oh and cheese to get the pills down. My youngest is turning into a bully lately pushing and hitting the other two. I guess she is just letting them know she's not going take any of their crap. The kids are getting so big. My how the grow up fast. I hope everyone who reads my blog on a regular basis is doing good. Thank you for all your support.

Is this what is happening to the public school system? I though the govern't has that no child left behind thing going on? I think they missed a few.

To everyone, check it out leave your comments and let the world know we won't stand for this, it is our husbands and wives and our children's fathers and mothers they are shamefully dishonoring. Please let let the troops know you are supporting them, there are plenty of websites that help support them.

Missing our husbands

Ok I've noticed, on a few blogs I've that we all are missing out husbands today, me included. Why today? I miss my honey I miss him a lot. I went into V. Secret today and I think that made me miss him even more. They have such cute stuff in there, and why buy anything if it's just going to hang in your closet for the next however long. Well I did buy a few things just so my kids would shut up about how they wanted the little pink and white stuffed dogs. If you buy anything from their pink line you get this cute little pink and white poka dotted dog. Oh by the way my fav color is PINK. I use to have pink in the bottom layer of my hair and I think I own everything from VS's pink line. I swear they must have been thinking about me when the came out with that line. Anyway I'm getting off track (sorry)!

I was just saying earlier today, that I feel like I don't even have a husband anymore until the paycheck hits and I realize how much more difficult it would be if I had to work. I thank my husband for everything he does to let me be able to stay at home with the kids. I miss him and love him for without him I would be no one. I look forward to the day you return. I can't wait to be with you once again, I miss our time together good or bad. Hurry home we all miss you and love you.

Update time

Ok I guess I need and update here, so much has happened around here. First of all I'm starting to feel as if my husband doesn't exist any more. I know that sounds horrible. I guess it's just that I'm doing everything by myself and I've completely taken over the house. It's pretty bad when you live in a small town and when you go out you always see the same people out and about, I just know they're thinking poor women all those kids and no man around. Then you have the other end of the spectrum, when I do get a chance to get out without the kids I get kinds of looks from men, In my younger non settled down days I would have loved it, and I might even like it now if the men were top notch, but they don't even come close, or there is the young ones yuck.( I like them to be older than 25) LOL JK. However one day I was at Lowes it was me and the kids and here I was loading 20 bags of red rock into my car and this nice older man (my grandfathers age) came over and asked if he could help, I said no I'm fine but he insisted. As we are loading the rock he noticed the proud spouse magnet I have on my SUV and asked if my husband was one of them overseas. He said tell him thank you next time you talk to him and then he told me not to worry about the rock get the kids in the car he'll finish it up, so I loaded the kids in and when I was done he was gone and the car was loaded and all closed up ready to go. So THANK YOU to that man where ever you are, and now for my next story. It was just this past Thursday or Friday I'm getting ready to get all the kids out of the door and into the car when I hear a knock on the door crap I say to myself it's one of Alex's friends or someone wanting to borrow something. I get to the door and I see a news truck parked in front of my house and a guy standing at my door. Ok my first reaction was terror, did something happen to my Husband and the news found out first? I opened the door he into. Himself and said he was doing a story on how fast good ol Culpeper was growing. He asked me a few questions then asked if I would I mind going on camera for an interview I said no prob, but can I go get some makeup on first. Mind you my hair wasn't done nor was I dressed to impress but oh well. So I did the interview. I watch it that night they did a really great job and they put the kids playing in yard in the piece also. Well a day later the kids and I were taking a walk and a guy and his wife were having a yard sale, I stopped to chat a bit and then he asked is your husband ok I saw the new truck out there and all I could think was that something happened and the news was already knocking on your door. I told them the whole story of what really happened and thanked them for thinking about us. Other than them two exciting stories everything else has been the norm. The kids screaming at me, me screaming at them (which I hate doing) I hate having to raise my voice. My son got a hold of a knife don't ask how I think he's into magic and made it appear out of thin air because I've never seen that knife before. Well he cut his finger not too bad it's taken a couple of days to get it to heal. Just as his finger heals I decide to cut my knuckles with scissors as I'm opening a box, I can hear my husband's voice in my head, away from the body, and how he is going to hide all the sharp objects from me again. I'm pretty gracefully when it come to sharp objects, there was awhile there when my husband wouldn't let me use a knife or scissors ( not joking)

Well I hope this finds everyone in peace and good health.

Ok I've been getting some weird, rude and scary comments from people, I don't know about my children. If you are going to leave a comment like that, don't chicken out and not leave your your name. NEVER CALL A TWO YEAR OLDS BLUFF

The Picture above is why one should not call a two year olds bluff. We were at the mall and I was buying some earrings for my daughter. Here is the conversation that took place with my son. "Mommy I want earrings to" " You can't" "why"? "you don't have holes in your ears" "Well then I want holes in my ears" "You can't" "why"? Me "ummmm" I had no answer to that one so I dropped the subject. Well as the day progressed he wouldn't leave me alone about the whole holes in his ear thing. So I decide to call his bluff surely he would chicken out when I got him in the chair and I would be out $12.00 no big deal right. Wrong, here is how that part went down. Curtis sitting on my lap the lady explaining everything she was going to do. They lady then drew a dot on his ear. She then brings the gun up to his ear. I'm like ok here it goes he is about to say no. The lady then proceeds to pierce his ear, 2 seconds later not a tear or a scream just my son saying Ok it's done we can go now, and there you have it folks I just been, how do they say it outwit, outplay, outlast, by my two year old son. He is the very proud owner of a hole in his ear, as you can tell by the photo. This little boy is so proud that he shows everybody he sees. Oh well it's just a hole, and it's not like I'm one to follow all the rules myself.

A New Time Frame

I don't know too much, but what I do know is that my husband told me that his COL was a go with a 6 mn rotation. Which means that his time is almost up. Nothing is set in stone(when is it with the military) They are still working on the details. He also might get to take leave in Aug. Let's hope because I really need to see him even if it's only for a little while. As of right now things are looking up. I don't want to get too excited because you never know what can happen. I wish everyone the best of luck and thank you for the continued support.

Praying for London

As we all know we are not all located in the US. We have many military wives and children located in other countries. Right now I would like to take the time to let all of them know that we are praying for them during this dark time in London. I know what is feels like to be trapped in another country when something like this happens. Military wives around the world please pray for London and it's casualty's, for we all know what they are going through.

ONE OF OUR OWN Posted by Hello

IF you stand for nothing you'll fall for anything

Ok I'm getting up on my soap box, just give me a few minutes(it's pretty high)
I have taken excerpts from a news article that was sent to me.

"Fred Phelps of the Westboro Baptist Church in Topeka, Kansas, says God killed Idaho National Guard Corporal Carrie French with an improvised explosive device. Phelps says God is retaliating against America for a bombing of his church six years ago."

Here is some more reading on these hatred driven people
http://www.godhatesfags.com/fliers/jun2005/20050613_carrie-french-funeral.pdf

Col Carrie French was killed in action June 5th when an IED exploded. I ask you to take a good look at the picture of this young women. She was one of the Soldiers out there fighting for your right to have freedom of speech.

OK let me get this straight a God that everyone( no matter what religion you are) says is kind and gentle and forgiving killed a child with an IED, yes I said a child because she was only 19. This man claims to part of the church. I come from a southern Baptist background and I don't recall ever learning that God kills with explosives. Let that man show up at a funeral that I pray I never have to attended. Because I guess God would have to kill him with my bare hands. My heart and prayers go out to the family. Please know that this man and his followers are only a small group of people out there and stupid small group at that point. There are many others out there who care.
Here is this mans website. LET IN BE KNOWN I DO NOT SUPPORT THIS MAN NOR HIS FOLLOWERS. I ask, take a look at his protest list and if there is one near you please gather as many people as you can. Go wave your American flags and we support the troops posters. I say that we send this man and his followers to go live in a country where there is no freedom much less freedom speech.

Dear Lord I pray for this man and anyone follows him. I pray that you show him who you are because I believe he has never met you.

Here are some more blogs of people like who believes that injustice should not go unpunished.

My life is at a stand still

I fell as if everything has come to a complete halt. Here I am living this life apart from my husband. I'm living mine and he is living his. We are no longer moving forward together. We were suppose to be moving forward in our lives together. I find that his personal belongings are being removed more and more everyday from this house. I've taken over the bathroom and the bed room. I did however hang his robe on the linen closet door in the hallway just to have something of him hanging around. It's weird because when I make choices I find myself not including what he would say or do. It's getting tougher and tougher he is no longer around not even his smell. I wish he were here to see through our children's eyes like I am able to. They are growing up so fast and learning so many things that he will never be able to see. I'm breaking down slowly and I feel as if there is no one out there who understands. I have great friends around here however I can't expect them to understand what it feels like to go to bed every night by themselves and wake up to nothing, but dreams. I think of the day he comes back and I run it through my head, what will he look like, will the kids remember who he is, will I. How can we ever get back what we've lost by not being around each other for such a long period. How can you love someone so much so far away. Below are some things I keep around my house for inspiration. I hope the provide some for all the military moms and dads out there.

YEAH ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm so proud of myself I balanced our AC yesterday, with a little help from my Father-in-law. I'm not a Mrs. Fix it by all means, I think someone was looking out for me when I met my husband, because he is Mr. Fix it. Every time my kids break a toy I'll say I can't fix it, it's broke we're going to have to throw it away they say no daddy can fix it, and he does. (we have a box of toys waiting for him when he comes back), however with him being gone I've had to take over the role and your talking about person who makes five holes in a wall even though I only need two(a good day would be three holes). So instead of going outside in some skimpy little outfit and asking some man to help me :) JK, I've decided to start figuring things out on my own. Yeah I still put a few more holes in the wall then necessary and it may take me and hour or so to do a ten minute project, but I'm doing it, I'm becoming more independent. Don't get me wrong the day my husband comes back I'll conveniently lose all my self taught knowledge(ha ha) and he'll most likely redo some of the stuff I've done.
I find myself starting think like my husband also, for example instead of using some kitchen utensil, I actually go to the garage and find the right tool for the job. Who knew that they made tools for different jobs, and that my husband has everyone of them, who knew that a tool belt wasn't some accessory that looks cute when worn with a pair of jeans. All in all I'm starting to get the hang wearing the pants around here, that still doesn't mean I won't put a skirt on every now and then(if you know what I mean) ha ha :) joking. I wonder how a tool belt would look with a skirt?

I'm soooooooooo tired

Hello all,I've posted some new pics down below,

We've been so busy with school coming to an end. My oldest daughter will be graduating Pre school and be in kindergarten next year. My sister came and visited for a week, she was a big help. My husband is doing good. He has been traveling a lot. The one thing I really hate about him being deployed is not being able to get a hold of him if I have a emergency I feel so helpless in that aspect. I also hate mowing the lawn. I don't mind doing the work it is good exercise however finding the time to do it is hard with three kids I normally have to do it when they're sleeping however it is so hot @ 2 or 3 o'clock. I thought about getting up early and doing it but then the grass is still wet. Oh well It got it done yesterday I was lucky the clouds came rolling in and it started to rain a little. I however didn't have enough time to weed eat I hate doing that I can never do it right(you think with 4 years of active duty Army under my belt I would be an expert) I either get to close or not close enough. My poor vehicles have not had a wash (except for the rain) since my husband has left (God don't tell him that) I figure one day I'll take it to the drive in car wash and get it done. I feel like everything is falling apart with my house there are a few odds and ends that need to be done. Like the screen being replaced one of the rain spouts need to be replaced things like that. However I don't stress too much, as long as the bills are paid and the kids are happy and healthy and fed, I'm happy. I know there are a lot of people out there who if they saw my house right now would freak it's not dirty just messy toys everywhere things out of place the yard needs some work, at least I'm able to pay someone to come in every two weeks to clean the down stairs. Well I better stop my complaining for now. I a very fortunate person to have what we have. There are others who are less fortunate.Until next timeApril
