APRIL SHOWERS BRING MAY FLOWERS

My garden is starting to come in. It's such ashame that I'll be leaving it all behind, (all the hard work) to start all over again. I really don't know what I'm doing when it comes to gardening. I just start planting things and pray for the best. It look like everything is happy where I have placed them. The Purple flowers are from my Mother-in-Laws garden. She sent me part of her bulb last year and I planted it and that is what I got. Yeah. Spring has sprung my kiddies and it's only the beginning, now only if my grass would get happy everything will be perfect.

MORE CRAZES

Hello all,

I signed the contract for the sale of our house yesterday. After a week of talking back and forth about what each party wants and making sure their pre-approval letter was ligament and all the other things involved. We finally have a contract on the house. We are looking to close 26 May 06. Which is good because my hubby has a 4 day weekend that weekend, and since we have enough Frequent Flyer Miles, he is going to fly back to close on the sale of our house. I'm going this Sunday to look at houses in PA. We found we liked last time we went up there however it won't be ready in time the estimated date is 30 June 06, and seeing as we are closing on the house at the end of May and right now are trying to do a rent back until June 9th. I went to transportation yesterday. Let me tell their ass backwards way of doing things. First of all I live about 70 miles from post just to afford to live off post. I called and asked how things work here because you know everywhere is different. They told me to come in 0830-1600. Ok I leave the house around 0830 and get there just before 1000 I signed in since there was noon else in there he took me right away. He asked for a copy of my orders had me fill out a piece of paper and then took a copy on the POA and 4 more copies of my orders. Ok that took really like 5 mins. He then looked at the dates I needed to be packed and said ok we need you to come back May 10th @ 1000 for your briefing and that was it. Needless to say I was not very happy. Couldn't they have had me fax all that info to them? What I really don't understand is why my husband didn't do that part while he was up there finding out what I needed to do to get things done. So I hope they can get the pack dates I need which is pack the 5-6 June and pick up 7 June. Which means we will be living with nothing for a few days and hopefully I'll be able to find a place and getting a closing date June 9th and have a roof over our head by that weekend. My hubby will be back sometime around the end of June. I don't even know if I'm allowed to move up there before my husband at the this point but hey I don't have an option. Oh BTW my husband messed his knee up while at school and has to see a specialist on Sat to see if he can take a PT test on Monday, however I know what will happen they'll ask him what he wants to happen and he'll tell them I think it will be fine and the Dr. will say ok we can do that he'll take the PT test and mess it up even more and then be screwed and lucky if he can even get drive back home at the end of the course. Heaven for bid he take care of himself the right way and not be able to finish the course out. It's not like you can't go back once your better. They think it's a legament that it pulled to it's max right now, I say it's your body's way of saying hold on fucker push me anymore and I'm going to get pissed of and fuck your world up. That's all I'm saying.

LET THE GAS WARS BEGIN

Ok a few gas stations around here have run out of gas. Everybody acts like they better get their gas before they raise the prices again. There was line all day at Sheetz, normally the cheapest gas station around. Well I have gas in my tank about 300 miles until empty. It's bad I don't use the gas gauge in my car I use the how many miles to empty gauge. Silly me. I don't plan on going anywhere anyways so I'm not complaining, however I will be complaining when I have to fill up the beast. So here is the Question of the day. How much is gas prices in your area. We might have an offer on the house today. That's crazy. I'm freaking out this means I'm really moving. They came and looked at the house yesterday. It was a last minute one also. I was sitting in the my office and I see a car pull in front of my house and then I got a phone call asking if they could come in and look. The funny thing is it's by appt. Only because I have to put dogs away and tidy up and stuff. I told them to give me 15 mins to get the dogs and kids settled. So here my brother and I shoving stuff under beds and couches and Alex is throwing all her toys in her toy box and trying to make her bed. I guess it just might pay off. We'll see. Right now I'm really scared because that means I need to get off my butt and look for a new place to buy. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

SIPPED SIX SODAS AND GOT SICK SICK SICK

Ok my fellow bloggers, I've yet again have become sick!!!!!! This time I actually have an illness other than the good ol' virus lecture. It's Strep,(*stands up* Hi my name is April and I have Strep throat. I just woke up one morning feeling like crap and at that moment in my life that's when I knew something was wrong.) LOL My husband is picking up my meds today, because you know they have to wait for the test to come back to give anything, and seeing how we live 60 miles from the military clinic I was not traveling out there yesterday seeing how hubby had to go to work today. BTW I'm allergic to penicillin the number one drug of choice for strep so I'm getting something that take a little longer to work. YAYYY I promise I will be up and running soon. Our house is ready to be bought, I've started a new website called OPERATION SALE APRIL"S HOUSE

Hubby leaves Monday for ANCOC he won't be back unitl June, so it's just little ol me trying to sale and buy a house. Thank God he'll be back before we have to move. Well I better go. We have been working on finishing our basement starting last weekend, we are finally to the paint stage. Our realtor said it would sell for more if it was finished and we said ok let's go. We have a dead line of today, due to the fact that my hubby has to have oral surgery to take out his wisdom teeth on the 4th, JOY!!!!!! A day before my birthday so I'll taking care of my baby for a few days until he is back to feeling better. Other than that nothing new, just tired and sore. BLAH BLAH BLAH

Nothing new here. Right now I'm wanting to update my Blog with a new skin something cool, and since I'm not very good at the whole thing I'm stuck with what Blogger offers. I'm also looking into paying for a new skin. Just don't know what I want yet. We are still getting the house ready to sell even though I think it's good to go but, people are getting nervous and want it perfect you could say before making it available. It's crazy the market around here is so touchy feely. I have faith that everything will fall into place. However other people don't like to rely on it. Oh well we'll keep on moving forward. Last Monday I woke and felt like I was dying I didn't even have the strength to get out of bed. I got up and got Alex ready for school went down stairs to get her snack ready and make sure her book bag was ready and then asked my husband to make sure she got on the bus for me. As he came up stairs to finish getting ready to work I told him there was no way I was going to be able to take care of the other two kids that day. Thank God he nothing pressing @ work he was able to call in and tell them what was going on. I literally laid in bed all day I would wake up for about 10 mins at a time and then go back to sleep finally my husband came in a said I really needed to eat something and dinner was made. So I made my way down stairs I hadn't even seen the kids all day. Ate dinner and went right back up to bed. I felt a little better the next day, however Alex didn't so she stayed home Tues and Weds. She went to school thurs woke up with a fever fri. So she stayed home. Sat evening she had a fever and felt a little better Sunday so went to school today I just hope she'll make it through the day. The school is getting a little mad because she has missed so many days. It's kindergarten for crying out load. She has been getting sick because she picks it up at school what do they want me to do. Oh well they'll get over it. Well that all I have for today. Time to getting something done around here. We slacked off this weekend because of the nice weather. We had the first official BBQ of the season Friday night, and then carried it on into the weekend. Today is another nice day so hopefully I'll b e able to get this yard looking nice again.

NOT MUCH BLOGGING

Ok quick update, painting, cleaning, decluttering, traveling, sleeping. Not much going on here we just got everything finished with the house and now we are on the market. So if you guys know anyone moving to N. VA and they need a house send them my way (JK. I can't do to much typing I nearly broke my right hand on Weds. And I'm still in pain, but the Dr. gave me good meds,(excuse my broken english) however I can only take them when the kids are asleep because I fear I won't be able to take care of them. (it's really good stuff) Hubby will be back Sat. He went to school for a week. Brother moved back down to FL, long story. Took a trip up to Ohio (we'll never live that far north too cold for me). Taylor turned 2. And happy Birthday to all you Feb babies out there, Oh BTW we didn't win the mega millions yet but we plan on it. LOL

THE JOYS OF BEING PARENTS OF A SCHOOL AGED CHILD

Ok here we go,

About a week or so ago we got a letter from the school stating that there was lice found in Alex's classroom. Great so I wash all of Alex's hats and coats that she wears to school. Then Alex was sick last week with a nasty stomach virus going around she missed 3 days a school because of that, which in turn spread to the rest of the family. I've been checking her head for lice everyday when she comes home from school, because I'm a paranoid person like that, knowing that lice really is harmless, but still it's a pain in the ass to deal with. So last night Alex is digging away at her head saying it itches really bad. So I'm like oh you just have dry scalp you couldn't have lice I've been checking you and you missed just about all of school last week, so I go check her again, I low and behold she had lice, not the eggs but the bugs, so she had to have gotten yesterday while at school. So it's 8 at night and I'm off to Walmart to buy the stuff you have to use, I get home Alex had feel asleep on the couch so we wake her up put the stuff on her head let it sit for 10 mins and run up stairs change her bedding, grab her coat and hats again throw them in the wash, run back down stairs rinse her head and commence to combing through her hair with the smallest come know to man. My husband is such a great man he stayed there and combed through that childs hair for about 45 mins getting everything out. Thank god I just had her hair cut short before all this happened because I can't imagine combing through the long hair she uses to have.

2 week and counting

Ok we have 2 weeks to get this house ready to show and then project sell my house begins. It's so scary the thought of random people coming through and looking at my house while I'm still living here. Sorry such a short post however there is paint calling my name JOY

What reallt makes me mad however is the pictures they put in these type of mags. You can clearly tell on some of them that they just making up stuff. I was thinking of starting a what do you think type blog where I would post pics from the Mags and have people come in a give there option or caption to the pic. Just something I'm tossing around. Yeah!! I filed my taxes on Friday. Uncle Sam has decided that we get a nice chunk of change back. What to do with the money. Save it yep we plan on saving it. Due to the fact that we have to buy a new house soon. We are steadily busy getting this one looking perfect. We did yard work Sat. It was a nice day so we took advantage. I haven't been feeling well these past few days. I love my husband because yesterday he had plans to work on his car and instead he let me sit on the couch while he took care of the kids and house. He even cooked dinner!! I felt guilty so I helped out a little. Hopefully today will be better. As long as I'm sitting and not moving around too much I'm fine, but as soon as I start to move around the pain sets in. Today my wonderful guy had to go to work so I'm on my own. We are planning on going house hunting at the beginning of Feb and see what is out there. Hopefully we'll win HGTV'S DREAM HOME and not have to worry. Oh there was a house burglary in our neighborhood this past Thursday. They broke in broad daylight. We know the people who live there. Can't say to much because of the amount my hubby is involved with the whole thing. Well that all for now kiddies. I need to change the clothes over at the very least I can get that done today.

I'M A BAD GIRL

Ok I've been pretty bad about blogging lately. We have been so busy around here. We have officially listed the house(will post the link as soon) to get the word out. However it is listed Temp. off market until we can get it de cluttered and looking like a model home. You know it looks like someone lives there but never uses anything all day long. That should be easy right? (3 kids 2 dogs 3 cats + 1 brother) We had a great Christmas and New Year caused a little trouble in the neighborhood for New Year, oh well it wouldn't be a party if there was no trouble being caused. The kids have been sick for the past 3 days so that's always fun, husband's work (US ARMY) being a pain in the ass also. It wouldn't be the Army if they weren't. We've just been working on the house filling in holes and touching up paint and cleaning. We put up crown molding in the Library and living room (that was fun. We have weaned the dogs off sleeping in their crates @ night they are doing great no problems. We have moved Taylor into a toddler bed she was climbing out off the crib. She is doing better than I was expecting. She's only gotten out one time and fell asleep by her door and when I went to check on her I hit her in the head with the door. Oops. After that no probs. Alex is doing great in school she has been out for the two days due to having stomach issues (yeah me)! Curtis is, well a male (need I say more)? So it's official we are moving to PA and the report date in no later than Aug 06. Hubby goes to school from April-June which leaves me to sell and buy a house, all with hoping that we don't sell to early and have no place to live until hubby gets back at the end of June. Hopefully I won't have to deal with the movers all by myself. Yuck I hate moving. I hope this post finds everyone with a great start to their New Year.

Ok so I have decide if we have to move I better start getting rid of stuff that I didn't even know it existed. I started with the pantry and kitchen yesterday, so far I have a box and 2 trash bags full of stuff I was keeping (the reason is unknown), next on the chopping block is the kids rooms and clothes I'm getting rid of all the clothes and shoes that no longer fit them. They hate when I do this because I make them try on everything to make sure it doesn't fit them anymore. Then on to the toys that are broke or don't work anymore. I really hate Christmas when it comes to this. My kids all ready have enough toys why do they need SANTA to bring them more right? Well not to get off subject, but SANTA isn't bringing them that much this year. That's not to say relatives aren't. They are each getting 1 thing from their list to SANTA. I asked them if SANTA can only bring one thing from your list what is the one you want the most. Then I got them 2 things from mommy and daddy, and a few stocking stuffers to track back to the one toy they are getting from SANTA. My husband has been home a lot and not traveling for awhile. He was able to pick up a little 97 Acura for 1500.00 which has helped out with the gas situation. I feel bad for my Tahoe, she just sits there in the drive way. Unless we have to take all the kids with us. We have gotten some snow around here and they are calling for some more on Thursday, well rain and snow mixed which is the worst. Sorry for all the bouncing around it's one of them days.

Ok talk about dropping a bomb. The military has decided that it's time for us to move. Yeah!!!!!!!!!!!!! (right) My husband was able to get a hold of the guy that does the reassignments for CID . He gave us a few options.

1. Ft Polk LA
2. Carlisle Barracks PA
3. Aberdeen Proving Grounds MD
4. Ft Lee VA
5. Ft Meade MD
6. Ft Rucker AL
7. Ft Hood TX
8. Ft Monmouth NJ

SO we have been busy doing research. Here is what we came up with.

Ft Rucker (there is no way I can live in AL) reminds me of home.
Ft Lee and Ft Meade were dependent on another person which every one he chose we would get the other. (Too much risk in that)
Aberdeen Proving grounds too expensive
Ft Monmouth BAH rate is 2138.00 (need I say more)
Ft hood (ha ha now that's just too funny)
So that leaves us with Carlisle Barracks. Which is about 3 hours from where we live now. So when it comes to moving all the kids and animals it just makes since. With it being 3 hours tops away from here means I can still keep in touch and visit the friends we have here.
And the #1 reason
HERSHEY PARK yes will we will be living really close to Hershey PA.
ok not the real #1 reason but hey it's up there. Target, Olive Garden, A mall, Skiing, car shows. So off to the races for us. We are now waiting on dates so we can begin the process that is called PCS. We are taking a trip up there Sat. to check things out and see if we can afford to buy a house or live on post.

Sorry about not blogging I've been having problems with PC's AND ISP's. If this post goes through that means everything is fixed if not well I figure it out. I will catch everyone up as soon as I get some down time. With thanksgiving coming up we are going to have a house full 4 extra people staying here and 6 extra people total visiting. So wish me luck. WHAT A WEEK

Well I know I haven't posted for a week now. It really doesn't have to do with my HUSBAND BEING HOME really, ok maybe a little. However things have been crazy around here with the weather change and kids getting sick and me trying to fight getting sick. So I guess I'll run down the week with you all. As we all know his flight was delayed 24 hours. 30 mins before I was suppose to leave to get to the airport I asked my oldest if she wanted to go and pick up daddy with me, she was so excited because she had no clue he was coming home. So we got in the car we left the house @ 1740 and got to the airport @ 2000. There was a ton of traffic and I went the long way. (there was a shorter way) We got there with 20 mins or so to spare which was fine because Alexandra and was bouncing off the walls and I don't know if I could have taken that in an airport for more than 30 mins.. We got home around 2330 that night. Friday it was up early to get Alexandra off to school. My husband found out on Friday that he was going to outprocess with CRC on Weds. Cool however CRC is in GA. So his flight left yesterday and comes home Friday. Try explaining that one to your kids, who think daddy is leaving them again. Which he almost didn't make it to the airport for the flight due to a late pick up(and traffic)from the service he uses to get him to the airport. The weather has changed. So we are all getting runny noses. I was really looking forward to not having to use gas or electric for a least a month but that isn't the case. We've had to turn the heat on. We keep it @ 62 though. In the morning it's programmed to heat up to 70 and cut off around 1000, when the sun starts to shine throughout the house. This weekend is going to be a long one. Alexandra is out of school Friday and Monday. We are getting ready for Halloween. We always do something big for the kids in the neighborhood. This year we have a pirate theme. We are turning our house into a ship and the yard into an island where the treasure in buried. It's so fun because all the kids no we always do something but this year we are waiting until Sunday evening to put anything up. So all the kids are trying to guess what we are going to be doing. My calendar for Nov is filling up quickly. My hubby is going to be taking pretty much all of Nov off for leave. Hopefully we won't want to kill each other by the time his leave is up. JK. Well the kids are yelling for me and the beds need to be made. So I'm off to the races if I can knock out the house work early I can lay around the rest of the day. I'm no feeling to well myself and I'm trying to fight it off. I figure if I keep moving it won't catch me, we'll see if that works.

Thank you to everyone who has sent me kind words of encouragement and those who have checked on me. Again I'm living proof that they do come home. I'm already looking back and saying WOW time flew by. Now on to the next step after the honeymoon is over we have to get back to normal.

Got a phone call. He has landed in Germany, getting ready to board for the final flight. So far so good. I'm not crossing my fingers yet. I guess it's time for me to pick up the pace around here and put the final touches on a few things. Nothing special planned this time around. Maybe so dinner at his fav fast food rest. I really wanted to stay at a hotel. However with Alex having school tomorrow I don't have anyone who can get her off to school in the morning. Oh well.

OK it's 0540 here, one of the our dogs woke me so I came down to check my email. My hubby emailed me saying they made it to their next stop, he was getting on the plane in about an hour and it was 0300 my time. He also said he would give me a call when he got to the next destination. Don't know what time that will be. Well I'm back of to bed for about and hour, before it's time to get my daughter ready for school.

Ok well it's 0500 where my husband is located and his flight was due to leave @ 0420. I haven't heard from him, so I'm assuming that he is in the air or on his way. I don't how many stops he has along the way, but I should be getting a call from when he lands in Germany. Well time to get everyone ready for bed.

I haven't heard anything new. So I'm still going with the 20th. I did go today with my friend Angie and do a little shopping. Went down to The Frenchman's Cornerand picked up some wonderful Belgian Chocolate. That will last me oh about 2 hours if that. Went to The Jewelry Box I had 100.00 gift certificate to spend there so I bought my daughter a pair of earrings with money left over. So know I just wait to see if he makes it to Germany via who knows where.

Ok here we go again. Starting today I plan on blogging quite a bit. My plan is to blog every time I here something about my husband's arrival. I think it will be kind of cool to look back later on down the line and see the emotions I went through and how many changes took place with the flights and everything else. Maybe the military can use this as an educational tool,they sure need something.
0730 received an email saying they seemed to everything squared away as of right now and will be arriving same time same place just a day late. So that make arrival Thursday the 20th @ 2015.

WELL SO MUCH FOR BEING ON TIME

Well I just received word that my hubby's flight getting him to Germany got pushed back 24 hrs. So now I have no clue when he's coming in. He was suppose be in Weds. @ 8:30 pm. Now I guess I just wait. The bad thing is the airport he is arriving @ is 2 1/2 hours away. So it's not like I can wait until he is @ the airport to leave the house. That's the military way. They sure can get the troops over there with no issues, but getting them back they must have issues.

Sitting here with nothing to do but I am one stop closer to you. Sounds
like a song. These were the first two sentences from an email I received from my hubby. It's official he has started his decent to the states. I went out last night to the local pub they had a local band playing called Kid Sister. They played a lot of Petty. I'm a huge Tom Petty fan, so it made my night. So for your listening enjoyment. So question of the day. If you've heard of Tom Petty which I know you have. What is your Fav song. Mine is American Girl Will post results later. Also I cut all my hair off as you can see by the pics below. Wasn't able to get as blond as I wanted to without damaging my hair more. Oh well it's just hair right?

Nothing new here Over There wasn't on last night MLB was. So I have nothing to say in that area. My oldest is sick again with a little stomach virus. I just love getting up @ 0400 and cleaning carpets and sheets. So she has been laying in my room all day. Well better get going time for some lunch.

Ok I'm done for the day. I'm off to bed. Busy day full of doing nothing.(wait how does that work?)Go figure. I'll be watching Over There tonight. Everybody always ask me how can you watch that. I say "I look at it as fiction." Even though deep down inside of me I know there is truth to it. My hubby comes home on the 19th if all goes as planned.(thinking positive thoughts). Ok I've been MIA when it comes to blogging and by using the test to fill in the blank days. Speaking of hair color, I have pink hair now does this new test mean I have to change it to orange? Honestly I'm about to go blond with the hubby coming home soon, He really likes me as a blond and I haven't had straight blond hair in a long time. So I figured it would be nice surprise for him when he gets back. Ok now for the weather Rain, Rain and more Rain. It has been raining since Friday night. The good news we are the proud owners of Lake Front property. It's a private lake right in MY VERY FRONT YARD Umm now to come with a name. So the kids and dogs have been going crazy because they have been in the house this whole time. BTW my dogs hate the rain their LABS go figure. So they don't finish all there business when it's raining instead they chose to hold it as long as possible and use my floor. The good thing we have Pergo on the lower level of the house which makes for easy clean up (I always try to look at the positive side of things.) Now on to my cats, we are missing one she has been gone for awhile I assume the worse. I've been to the humane society twice and have called numerous times. The good news, some kids in the neighborhood found a cat and brought it here to ask if it was mine (it looked nothing like my smokey) I told them I would take her for the night and take her to the humane society the next day due to that I was going up there anyway to see if my smokey was there. So I put the cat in my bathroom away from the other cats. I set food and cat litter in there for her. I start to look her over, very sweet cat, very loving and clean for a stray, so I'm thinking she belongs to someone, which is more of a reason to take to the humane society. As I'm petting her I notice she is on the thin side, but her belly is pretty round at first I was thinking poor thing has worms, so I continue to check her over and then I realize nope not worms kittens, she was prego. Ok, so now I'm feeling bad about taking a prego cat in. I called my husband and asked if would could just foster her through the humane society until she had the kittens. Thinking by the time she had them he would be home and fall in love with her and want to keep her. (I'm a sucker for animals)His response "Honey you know I love animals and would do anything for them however what if something where to happen and I wasn't there and you were all alone with the kids and no way to rush her to the vet." Ok he's got a point but cats have kitten everyday and everything ends up great umm there are a lot of cats in this world. So I had to take her in. Poor thing I felt so bad. On to other news I broke down and bought the Desperate Housewives first season on DVD. A must have for any DHWS fan. Full of great extras, plus it helps one to catch up. There was a lot of stuff when I was watching the DVD'S (there are six of them)I was "that's right I forgot about that" or "Why didn't I see that part must have been messing around with the kids." So my question for the day.


Who is the father and who do you want to be the father of Gabby's baby? Her current husband who is sitting in jail getting beat up or the lawn boy who is getting him a little somethin somethin from a 41 year old women.

My spin: I want the father to be Carlos, and for awhile I thought they would make the baby Carlos's however now that Gabby has come to her senses and sincerely apologized to Carlos I think they are going to make John the father. Oh how I do wish Carlos is the father.

PACKAGES

Well I've started receiving packages from my husband full of stuff, clothes Playstation games CD's and other odds and ends, I guess that means he's coming home. As of right now he makes his decent (as I like to call it) on the 15th. That puts him state side around the 19th or 20th. No surprises this time planned, not after what happened last time. This time it's going to be a drive to airport to pick him up and a drive back from the airport to the house. He is flying in to Baltimore which is about 21/2 to 3 hours depending on the time of day and traffic. So I guess it's time to gear up again. I've haven't told the kids yet due to the fact this is the Army we are talking about. I took Curtis to get his pictures taken, they turned out really good I've posted a few. He has gotten so big I never realized it until I saw the pictures. Well I've got to motor.

FUND-RAISING TIME!!!!!!!!

No I'm not asking for money. Just addresses. Please don't feel pressured to do so. My daughter's school is doing their fundraiser, which I hate because they talk it up so big for these kids. I know that the schools rely on these types of fundraising. However this year along with selling the normal stuff, wrapping paper, candy and other things I really don't need. They have a book. All we have to do is fill the book in with family and friends addresses. They will send you some magazine ordering info, which you don't have to buy heck throw away the info when you get it. If she fills in all 10 addresses she will get to go see the show they're doing for them and get some candy and some other little things (that will end up in the trash in a few days) which keeps me from going door to door. There is a note attached and it reads

DON'T WORRY! These notes will only be used for this one-time mailing and will not become part of a mailing list.

So if any one wants to contribute their mailing address that would be great if not no big deal. I have to have it back to the school by 30 Sept.

6 YEARS LATER: 3 KIDS,2 DOGS,4 CATS AND 1 MORTGAGE PAYMENT

Well 6 years today my husband and I tied the knot. We both were in the military stationed @ Ft. Bliss in El Paso TX. We were on lunch break. Went to the court house to fill out the paperwork and apply for our marriage license, found out that since we were both military, they waived the mandatory HIV test, so we were able to get the license right then and there. They said you have so many days to have it signed off by whoever was conducting the marriage ceremony. We said Oh Shit haven't thought that far ahead. She said "Well the is no waiting up stairs the judge is available" Ok then let's do it. We are paying for parking. So my husband and I both in BDU'S got married with no witnesses, no rings. Looking back it was the best wedding I could have imagined. No one fusing over hair,dresses,colors,cake,food,decor,invite list,who was going to sit where. I've always said it's not about the wedding it's about the person you are marrying. That's what my wedding was all about. The two of us and nobody else.

I'M BACK I THINK

I know everyone must have thought I fell off the face of the earth, and believe me sometimes I think I have to. I've been so busy taking care of the kids,house,bills and animals. I'm starting to wear down, finally. My husband has been gone for 7 months now and it's starting to feel like an eternity. I really don't miss him as much as I did at first it's weird I still miss him, but I'm learning to handle things on my own. I still love him to death and can't imagine my life without him. I guess I have so much on my mind right now that missing him has taken a back seat. I keep telling myself it will all be over before I know it. Our 6 year wedding anniversary is on the 16th. That's not going to a good day for me. Hopefully he'll remember to call me. If not things will not be good for him. My allergies are acting up now that the weather is starting to change. I've been trying to rest when the kids are calm or occupied. I'm starting to lose too much weight which is most likely why I'm tired all the time. My starting weight when my husband left was 140 which I was perfectly happy with. My weight now is 128. It's not like I'm not eating I eat all day. However at 0630 I hit the ground running and I don't get to bed until 2200 (and they sat housewives don't work). I've been doing a lot of yard work also. My oldest had her first football game (which she cheers for) this past Sat. She did really well, however after the game she pitch a fit like I've never seen, but hey if I could pitch a fit and get away with it trust me there would be times I would do it also. So I made her sit down right there at the football field and get it out of her system and when she was done she felt better. We came and talked about it. She is going through a lot herself. To only be 5 and deal with everything she's dealing with, she's doing pretty well. I think we sometimes forget about the kids when our husbands deploy, we know it's hard on them but do we really know the magnitude of it? Also I don't know if the two week R&R was a good thing for her either. It's like we teased her and then ripped her heart out. The next two weeks are going to be crazy we have a lot or Dr. appts. going on, there goes my extra money to pay for gas. Dewitt Army Medical center wouldn't allow us to be seen on the economy even though we live 80 miles from base so I have to drive to a radar clinic which is closer only 60 miles away. My youngest has her own issues and the military doesn't have the specialist she needs, so one of the appts. is @ UVA which has the best urology clinic around, at least they let us go there instead of Walter Reed. I hate driving there. I want to thank everyone who has checked up on me to see if I was still alive. Nice to know that there are people out there who are interested in my messed up life (at least for now). Again I keep telling myself not much longer not much longer.
